39th New Jersey's Mission of Honor Ceremony
The 39th New Jersey's Mission of Honor Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 and will include 7 additional veterans for a total of 10 veterans. We will be honoring eight World War II Veterans (five US Army/three US Navy) and 2 World War I Veterans (one US Army/one US Marine Corps).
NJ Mission of Honor has located these veterans with the cooperation of funeral directors from the Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC, Bloom Field and funeral directors from the Michalski Funeral Home, Jersey City. The veterans will be honored after being abandoned for 18 to 43 years.
All are welcome to attend the Committal Service at the cemetery.
12:30 pm Arrive at the information Center via Front Entrance - BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery
All attending shall remain at the Front Entrance Information Center until being escorted by Cemetery Personnel.
1:00 pm Committal Service
